The genus Papilionanthe was first described by Schlechter in 1915. It is a genus of flowering plants from the orchid family, Orchidaceae. Papilionanthe flowers are attractive and showy. 

Sunlight: Full Sun preferred.

Water: daily thoroughly.  Ensure the exposed roots absorb sufficient moisture as it turns from white to greenish.

Fertilizer: Recommends slow release nitricote fertilizer with organic lactobacilius Aquis. Good bacteria will promote healthy roots and eventually enhance growth.

Plant size: Approx. 40-50cm (vary in sizes)

Rootball size: Dia 15cm pot, height 12cm

Pot size: Dia 24cm pot, height 13cm

Pot type: Plastic/Ceramic pot with drainage hole

Remark: 3 cuttings of 50-60dm tie on bamboo pole in pot.
