The Alocasia infernalis plant has a unique nickname. It’s often referred to as “Black Magic” due to the beautiful black sheen that comes from the leaves.

The Alocasia infernalis needs fast-draining soil to prevent over-watering and under-watering. It also needs bright indirect sunlight and moist soil. Allow the soil to dry out before you water it.

This wonderful Alocasia plant creates oval-shaped leaves. These oval leaves are dark, dark green. This is what makes it look like the leaves are black. It’s unlike most houseplants you’ve seen

With the right care, an Alocasia infernalis can live for many, many years. You’ll have this plant around to show off to all your friends.

Sunlight: Filtered light

Water: 1-2 times a week. Avoid over-watering. Always water about 100ml of water each time. If soil remains moist, do not water.

Fertiliser: Recommend Gaviota 63 foliar fertilizer and /or lactobacillus Aquis organic fertilizer once a week.

Plant size: Approx 20cm (vary in sizes)

Root Ball/Pot Size: 10-12cm pot

Pot type: Sold with ceramic pot with drainage hole.
