Phoenix tail fern is a terrestrial fern in the Pteridaceae family. Variation of Pteris aurantias. The plant can reach a height of 1.5 meters. The rhizome is short and ascending, and the leaves are clustered; the stalk is about the same length as the leaves, together with the rachis, rachis, leaf margins or capsules are more or less decorated with light purple
