The Sanseveria aka Snake Plant or Mother-In-Law’s Tongue are valued for their interesting appearance and durability.
It is an ideal plant for indoor spaces as it is a superb air purifier.
Studies, including those performed by NASA, have consistently shown the plant to remove toxins such as formaldehyde, xylene, toluene, and nitrogen oxides.
Cylindrical snake plant can be acclimated to deep shade or bright light. It thrives on neglect, provided their potting medium or soil used must be well drained.
Like succulents, the roots of the plants cannot be allowed to sit in water to prevent root rot.
Sunlight: Partial sunlight to full sun
Water: 1-2 times a week.
Fertiliser: Recommends slow-release nitrocote or organic lactobacillus Aquis fertilizer.
Plant Size: Approx. 15-20cm H (vary in sizes)
